HTML Formatting

HTML Formatting is a way through which text looks better. It provides us with an ability to style our content without using CSS.

These formatting tags are used to make text bold, italicized, underlined and more other text styles. Following are the tags which are commonly used:- 

1. Bold Tag

This tag is used to make the font bold. Anything we placed within <b> tag, will display as bold.

2. Italic Tag

This tag is used to make the font italic. Anything we placed within <i> tag, will display as italic.

3. Mark Tag

This tag is used to mark or highlight a text. Anything we placed within <mark> tag, it will display as marked.

4. Underline Tag

This tag is used to underline the text. Anything we placed within <u> tag, will come as underlined.

This attribute helps to add a thin line over text. Anything we placed within <strike> tag, will come as strikethrough.

6. Superscript Tag

This attribute helps to show content little up than other content. Anything we placed within <sup> tag, will come as superscript.

7. Subscript Tag

This attribute helps to show content little down than other content. Anything we placed within <sub> tag, will come as a subscript.

This attribute helps to show content as deleted. Anything we placed within <del> tag, will come as deleted text.
